Kaapow!!!

Get ready for this week's Tuesday New Release at Bugaboo and time for some non Christmassy images to appear once again. This is the AKV Ninja! Great for masculine cards.

I cut the card blank and all the circle layers using my grand nesties. So good to be able to cut large, neat circles. There are 7 new ninja images available so head on over to the shop to check them out.

Happy Christmas Eve everyone!
Just because the year is dwindling to an end, doesn't mean the fun stops over at Bugaboo and Catch The Bug! We still have a challenge for you this week...

Red, Pink and Blue and a touch of Glitter or Fun Flock!

so it's a bit of an anti-Christmas card from me and time to make something else.

I used bashful blue and real red ink to create an argyle background with a Papertrey stamp. Then I used the colour theme for the image - Pink, Red and Blue. The image is Birthday Penguin Cake from Bugaboo. I used glitter on the image (which hasn't shown up well but there's a lot more glitter than I ever use!) and made the ice cream pop with some pink flowersoft.

If you want to join in with us for this week's challenge, visit Catch The Bug now for all the detials.

Day 12

It's the last day of the 12 Days of Christmas over at Catch The Bug. Today we have the Drummers Drumming and so the challenge is to be inspired by a
CHRISTMAS SONG
I have chosen Frosty the Snowman.

I have used the Polka Scarf Snowman image fro Bugaboo. The snowflake background ( I love how there's a twinkly snowflake on each of the lattice crosses) was stamped using a Papertrey background stamp set - Twinkling as did the sentiment.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

One Stitch At A Time ~ Use a Digi     Craft Your Days Away ~ Snowmen
Crafty Calendar ~ Cold and Frosty     CES ~ Traditional Christmas

I cut it out on cream cardstock and stamped it with a light green, dark green and brown ink pad using Papertrey Ink's Grunge stamp set too create the camouflage effect. I then made a tag using one of the AKV Army digital images from Bugaboo.

PLAID
Now this had me stumped for ages so decided to do a google search and when I typed it in, gingham came up. I was happier then!

This is my very first nugget tim! Used a stocking santa digital image from Bugaboo. The nuggets are covered in avery labels that have been stamped with Papertrey's gingham background stamp and Limitless Labels stamp sets. They have been alternated in the tin

Santa Baby

SANTA BABY
hurry down the chimney tonight...

Yep, that is our theme this week at Catch The Bug, the Bugaboo challenge blog. We would like to see your take on Santa/Santa Baby.

And yes, I have made another sizzix box. Well, in fact, this was the first one I made using nugets but have been waiting to share it). I stamped the labels with the gingham background stamp from Papertrey so that the would match with the backing panels on the box. I love how the sentiments have fitted with the spaces left by the image and the gingham.

The Bugaboo digi I used is Santa Sack.

Today starts a very exciting time in Bugaboo land. We are celebrating the 12 Days of Christmas in style!!! There will be a different challenge set each day and daily prizes up for grabs (and a host more too). All the details can be found over at the Catch The Bug Blog...

So day 1 is 'A Partridge in a Pear Tree'. The challenge is to include a TREE on your project.

I have made a little shaker box using a sizzix die and used nesties to create a lid and a base for it.

I then stamped some stickers with a co-ordinating ink pad and stamp set to cover up some Hershey Nugget chocolates to fill it.
