Happy Christmas Eve everyone!
Just because the year is dwindling to an end, doesn't mean the fun stops over at Bugaboo and Catch The Bug! We still have a challenge for you this week...

Red, Pink and Blue and a touch of Glitter or Fun Flock!

so it's a bit of an anti-Christmas card from me and time to make something else.

I used bashful blue and real red ink to create an argyle background with a Papertrey stamp. Then I used the colour theme for the image - Pink, Red and Blue. The image is Birthday Penguin Cake from Bugaboo. I used glitter on the image (which hasn't shown up well but there's a lot more glitter than I ever use!) and made the ice cream pop with some pink flowersoft.

If you want to join in with us for this week's challenge, visit Catch The Bug now for all the detials.

Day 12

It's the last day of the 12 Days of Christmas over at Catch The Bug. Today we have the Drummers Drumming and so the challenge is to be inspired by a
CHRISTMAS SONG
I have chosen Frosty the Snowman.

I have used the Polka Scarf Snowman image fro Bugaboo. The snowflake background ( I love how there's a twinkly snowflake on each of the lattice crosses) was stamped using a Papertrey background stamp set - Twinkling as did the sentiment.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

I cut it out on cream cardstock and stamped it with a light green, dark green and brown ink pad using Papertrey Ink's Grunge stamp set too create the camouflage effect. I then made a tag using one of the AKV Army digital images from Bugaboo.

I'm also entering this box into the following challenges:

Santa Baby

SANTA BABY
hurry down the chimney tonight...

Yep, that is our theme this week at Catch The Bug, the Bugaboo challenge blog. We would like to see your take on Santa/Santa Baby.

And yes, I have made another sizzix box. Well, in fact, this was the first one I made using nugets but have been waiting to share it). I stamped the labels with the gingham background stamp from Papertrey so that the would match with the backing panels on the box. I love how the sentiments have fitted with the spaces left by the image and the gingham.

The Bugaboo digi I used is Santa Sack.

Day 10

Well we are nearing the end of Bugaboo's 12 days of Christmas over at Catch The Bug. Yesterday's challenge was to create a feminie project so today is the day to go all masculine for the Lords who were Leaping.

Sea Breeze

Today I wanted to show you some more pages made using the MY MEMORIES digital scrapbooking softwear. I wanted to highlight how quick and easy it is to make up some pages so set myself a time limit of 15 minutes to make 3 pages and these are the result:

The fact that you can choose a basic layout for the pictures is brilliant, you simply drag and drop the pictures into place. Then choose a background paper, add a few embellishments and voila...

All the pages were made using the same digi pack too - Sea Breeze.

If you are at all inspired, then check out my giveawy by clicking HERE or by clicking on the banner at the top of my blog. You'll be taken to a page where you can write a comment and be in with a chance of winning the softwear and a code to get $10 worth of digi kits of your choice. Yep, all you have to do is comment on the post to be in with a chance of winning!

These layouts are entered into the following challenges:
Creative Craft ~ Anything Goes     Make It Monday ~ Anything Goes

Baby

Here's a personalised Christening card I was asked to make. Used bashful blue as the colour scheme and kept it quite clean and simple with lots of white.

The name was cut out with a sizzlets set which Ipurchased years ago but had only use it once! The images is from Bugaboo and is called A Kid's View (AKV) Baby Blocks. The bottom half of the back panel is stamped with a papertrey background stamp.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
Make It Monday ~ Anything Goes     365 Cards ~ Keep It Simple
Drunken Stampers ~ Monochromatic

Silver, Black and Bling

Yep, that's the challenge we have set for you this week at Catch The Bug, the Bugaboo digi affiliated blog.
SILVER, BLACK AND BLING
This card is so not me - a Christmas card without traditional Christmas colours or bright colours!

Now I'm not really a 'bling' person so went out and bought some sticky gems. Can you see them on the card? No? That's because I can't find them...
So I had to improvise. I used mirri card for that reflective blingy quality, some glitter on the image and attached a sparkly silver bow beneath the image. Hope that is enough sparkle and bling to qualify.

For all the details about the challenge and the prizes, make sure you head on over to CATCH THE BUG right now. While there, make sure you have a look at the rest of our DT work and some projects from some special guests.

Don't forget, there's still a chance to join in with my giveaway to win some digital scrapbooking softwear from My Memories, simply by clicking on this post HERE and leaving a comment (no complicated rules, trick, just one comment and you could win!)

Rugby Mad

The challenge over at Lili Of The Valley is Anything Goes. A perfect chance to share with you a couple of projects I made for my little Cousin. He's rugby mad so when I won a LOTV voucher and saw this, I knew I had to have it!

I created the backing papers with Night of Navy and Bashful Blue ink and a Papertrey Grunge Me stamp set.

The Sizzix shaker box is filled with some Hershey nuggets and covered with the same paper so that it all ties in.
