2 Cards for 2 Challenges

Made 2 cards today for two different challenges.

The first is for Cards for Men and their theme is GOOD LUCK. I have used this fantastic cowboy image from Bugaboo as the horse shoe seemed appropriate.

The second is for Aud Sentiments and their theme is 'It's Your Day' and what better than a Wedding card. I've made a very non-traditional card as the image lent itself to stronger colours than the usual muted weddingy ones.

I Love Digi Challenge #8 ~ For My Dad

In anticipation of Fathers Day, this fortnights challenge at I LOVE DIGI is;
FOR MY DAD
Remember, you can make any type of projects as long as you have a digital element on it - an image, papers etc. I have used this Lauren Meader template to create a gift box.

The image is from Bugaboo and so this also qualifies for today's Oldie But Goody over at Catch The Bug. I do like using this superhero image and the colour scheme is one I return to with him all the time!!!

The sponsor for the challenge at I Love Digi this time is Secret Crafter. So hy not enter the challenge and be in with a chance of winning a £10 voucher.

Allsorts Tag Challenge

I just purchased a tutorial on making mini books from Becky Roberts at Inking Idaho and couldn't wait to have a go. The directions are so clear and easy and making it was a piece of cake. Making it look as good as hers is a different story!!!

I've used a couple of Bugaboo Mildred images (from the exercise range) to decorate it.
Each page has a flap/pocket to place tags and pics into.

It just so happens that the challenge at Allsorts right now is to use tags on your project. These are some of the tags ready for adorning. The colour scheme is a favourite of mine - SU Old Olive and Chocolate Chip!

Catch The Bug Challenge ~ Sketch and Male Call

Woohoo, it's Challenge Time at Catch the Bug!

The theme is 'MALE CALL' and there's also one of Scrappy's Sketches to follow. I've kept it to a simple colour scheme and have used one of the 'My Little Monsters'- isn't he great! I love the wording that comes with these guys.

So why not check out the challenge, the rest of the DT blogs and maybe enter too and possibly win some great images in the process.

This card is also entered into the challenge over at Secret Crafter this week. Their theme is 'No Patterned Paper'.

ATC Swappers ~ Tall Tales

Hi all. I'm back from my holidays but have been so busy catching up and working that I haven't made anything new yet but thought I'd show you my ATCs for my swap this month at ATC SWAPPERS. The theme this month is TALL TALES and I've used my Bugaboo Alice images on mine. Do you like them? If so, then why not head on over to the swap blog and join in because this month we have a giveaway. Jodie, the Bugaboo artist has kindly donated the Alice and Mad Hatter images to a randomly selected participant this month. How exciting, our first sponsored swap!!!  What a fantastic reason to join in, if you;ve never swapped ATCs before, then why not use this as a way to get started.

I Love Digi Challenge #7 ~ Charming

It's a CHARMING theme this fortnight at I LOVE DIGI. We are asking for your projects to have a charm of some sort on them. Here's an easel card using one of the latest releases from Bugaboo. The backing paper clouds are a digi paper from Pink Petticoat.

Our sponsor this fortnight is Sew Many Cards who are offering 5 of their images to the winner.

So what are you waiting for? Head on over to I LOVE DIGI and get going.

Catch The Bug Challenge ~ Flower Power

I am currently in Greece and have my fingers crossed that this has scheduled correctly!
It's once again time for the Catch the Bug Challenge with Bugaboo. This week's theme is FLOWER POWER. My grandmother wanted a simple clean card with a flower for friends of hers that were moving house. This was the result. The sentiment is Welsh for 'Good Luck in your new home'.

Fancy joining in with us and possibly winning some Bugaboo digis? Then why not head on over to the blog to check out more.

Cards For Men #9

MONOCHROMATIC is the theme for Cards for Men this week. Here's my blue themed card. I've used a Gus image with a Stella sentiment from Bugaboo - I think they go together well!

This is my last post before I leave for my hols but I do have some scheduled posts and have my fingers crossed that they work. I schedule them and then they end up changing into 'drafts' for no apparent reason and as a result, don't post. FINGERS CROSSED

Oh Alice Challenge

Guess what - BUGABOO are sponsoring this weeks Oh Alice Challenge. The theme is A PROJECT FOR A CHILD. There's a chance of winning some images by entering this challenge.
I made this little easel card by layering the Bugaboo Alice image onto some floral Digi Paper from Pink Petticoat.

The card also applies to Dare U Digi this time as their theme is FLOWERS

Just Cute Bears Notebook

Here's another notebook I made. The theme at Just Cute Bears is Buttons and Bows and I used the sketch #61 from Card Patterns for the layout. It's clean and simple but I quite like it.

Notepads Galore

Here are some Log Books I have made ready for my rock climbing trip to Greece. I head off on Tuesday for 2 weeks in the sun (fingers crossed) and so expect it to be quiet around here.

These books will be used to log the completed climbs we do out there.

And while I was at it, I also made a couple for the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge which has the theme of 'Friendship' this week.

All images used on these notebooks are from Bugaboo.
