Going Looney...

Today is another Looney Tune card using my CD ROM from Create and craft. This time it's Foghorn Leghorn's turn to appear.

This time I didn't use the base layer of the decoupage so technically I have a topper for another card in readiness.

I'm entering this into Make It Monday's challenge this week.

Stella Says Sketch Again

And when Stella tells me to do something, I listen!!! Here is my take on the sketch, I used Crafting Dottie for my card.

It had been a while since I'd gotten the embossing folders out so thought it was about time.

Red Velvet

RED VELVET is the colour challenge set for you this week at CATCH THE BUG.

I used Cowgirl Dottie to create my card.

The card and ink are Cherry Cobbler, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla from Stampin Up. I used my papertrey ink gingham stamp to match the cowgirl theme. I used it inside as well as outside:

Check out the new release today over at Bugaboo. Here's just one of the images available to buy now. I wanted to make a romantic, Valentine-esque card but without the usual read and pink colour scheme. How's this?

Not sure if purple works but at least it's different. I created the background by stamping a PTI stamp over and over again. Now head on over to Bugaboo to see what else there is to see...

I have used 2 images from Bugaboo's Cow Humor range.

It's not a regular card as it slides open as opposed to opening like a book. This is the first time I've tried this style of card. I used my Grand Nesties to create it which made it quite easy.

I actually made this for a friend's birthday as she is a vet and so the images would be perfect.

Stamp With Fun Calendar Challenge

I'm back with my last project as Guest Designer for STAMP WITH FUN.

The challenge this time is CALENDAR.

Last year, I made a DT Team diary to keep track of future releases, challenges I needed to complete, image requests, deadlines, hop info etc. It was so useful that I decided to make another for this year.

I used the AKV Astronaut from BUGABOO this year as my theme.

The dividers have been stamped with some Papertrey Ink sentiments with some inspirational wording.

There's a page for each month with space to write down the important happenings.

I have used a watermark of the astronaut as a background for the requests pages.

And the astronaut behind a crater graces each note page.

I hope you like my project. It took quite a while to make but it'll be worth it to keep organised throughout the year.

I have another Looney Tune card for you today featuring one of the best known characters - Bugs Bunny.

It's another Clean and Simple design. All I used for this wass one printed sheet from the CD Rom. It has the decoupage layers on it plus a section of co-ordinating designer paper.

A bit of sledding?

I have had a little play with my Looney Tune CD ROM print outs. I keep printing them off as they are so good to look at but thought I'd better do some cards with them. I started off by making one of the 3D TVs from the first CD. They look more complicated than they are and may have to make some more. So here is my first 3D TV card with a wintery theme:

The inside of the TV has three decoupage panels. Just look at Bugs, Daffy and Taz having a great time in the snow. The picture doesn't really do the 3D effect any justice.

Welcome to Stella Says Sketch

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!

With a New Year comes something brand new from all of us at Bugaboo. Starting today, every other Sunday over at Catch The Bug, we will share with you a sketch. Well, when I say 'we', I mean STELLA! And when Stella Says Sketch, I think we need to listen...

So here is the very first Stella Says Sketch sketch:

I am really enjoying one of the latest releases from Bugaboo, the AKV Ninjas and have used three of themto create my card.

I have used Pacific Point from Stampin' Up as my colour choice and used the Grunge Me stamp set from Papertrey for the backing panel and sentiment. When I first ordered this stamp set, i wasn't sure why I wanted it but it screamed 'Buy Me'. I am so glad I did as I have used it so many times. You can create some great backgrounds with it.
