Monochromatic and Buttons

Are you ready for a double challenge this week with Catch The Bug? This week we are challenging you to create a:
MONOCHROMATIC project and to also use 3 BUTTONS.
The BUGABOO image I have chosen to work with is this Fanny one from the calendar months collection.

I used a PTI Stamp with garden green ink from SU to create the background. The Good Luck message suits the Lucky Shamrock design on Fanny's dress. I was about to mat her onto the green card straight but at the last minute, decided to change and put it on an angle so that there was more room for the buttons.

So fancy joining in with our challenge then? If so, then head on over to Catch The Bug for all the details and to see the DT Work and Prixes up for grabs.

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:
Digital Tuesday ~ Button Up
Fun With Shapes ~ No Designer Paper (Background is stamped)
Clear It Out ~ Buttons
Ladybug Crafts ~ Monochrome

Oldie But Goodie

Here's my Oldie But Goodie for this week at Bugaboo. I have used Yoga Dottie.

I sliced off a triangle from the front of the card to create a panel with added interest. Took the orange from the SU DSP as my main colour.

In My Heart

That was the theme for a swap with ATC SWAPPERS. This is Clyde and he is from Bugaboo. He is one of the best dragon images ever......

I used a PTI stamp to create the heart background. I stamped real red ink on real red cardstock so it's subtle (both from SU).

If you are interested in swapping ATCs then why not head on over to ATC Swappers and check out the latest swap theme.

I'm entering these ATCs into the following challenges:
Bee Crafty ~ Use a digi and HEARTS
Secret Crafter ~ Anything But a Card

ABaC

Hi everyone. Are youready for another 'Anything But a Card' day at Bugaboo?

Today I'm sharing with you my Bugaboo Designer Diary. This is where I write all my notes and things to keep track of my duties as part of the team. I've used the Zoo Bobblehead animals to decorate the inside and outside.

These tabs were made by typing the words and unching them with the SU Tab Punch. I inked them in Old Olive to match the colour scheme.

I used Publisher to create these pages. As there's a ruler on the top and sides, I was able to measure a rectangle that would match my Papertrey Mini Scrapbook Page Die. Then I simply added the month and dates and lines. I then added one of the bobblehead animals, turned it into a watermark and placed it behind the lines. I used the giraffe for January...

... the lion for February and so on.

I added more watermarked animals to the rest of the pages too. You can faintly see them in the bottom right hand corners.

Hope you like what you see. If you have any questions regarding this project or anything else, please note I have a new contact email. I've lost my old account!!! My new e-mail is

It's All About The Scallops....

It's all about the scallops this week with Bugaboo and we hope that you are ready to go scallop-crazy. That's right, our latest challenge is:
SCALLOPS
as if you hadn't already guessed....

I have returned to Clyde for this card. He is just the most amazing dragon image ever. He is a dream to colour.

So if you're ready to join in with the challenge, head on over to CATCH THE BUG to see all the details and the rest of the DT's work.

Guest Designer for......

How cool is that. I have been asked to be a guest designer for this challenge and also to pick the theme. As yesterday was my birthday so I had to go for the obvious:

BIRTHDAY

I have used one of my own tutorials (have a look in my sidebar for my pictorial tutorials) to create this Harry Potter inspired door hanger choccie bar holder.

Here's a close up of the image.

So for all the details for this challenge, head on over to the KARBER CHALLENGE BLOG now.
