ATC for a New release

As today is a Tuesday, it can only mean one thing!
NEW RELEASE DAY AT BUGABOO!
Just check out this cute dog:

I have used him to make this ATC. I used a SU Stampin Wheel to create the background to create a tone on tone effect and finished it off with some Baker's Twine.

Stella Says Sketch...

And so here we are again, at Catch The Bug, with our demanding Stella with another sketch for us to use:

Here is my take on the sketch. As you can see, I flipped it onto it's side so that I could use this Rocket image from the AKV Astronaut range.

Used some Papertrey stamps for the starry panel and for the main star shape too.

Mini Milk Carton

I can't believe Easter is nearly here. This year is flying by! Here I have used my Stampin Up Mini Milk Carton die to make a Creme Egg holder (I do love them although not had as many this year as I usually do!)

A creme egg is a perfect fit. I've used a Bugaboo rabbit digi for the front. It's called Funny Bunny Egg Tower

You ROCK!!!!

I love these new guys from Bugaboo. Here's one ready to rock out in style. I used the Grunge Me stamp set from Papertrey ink to create the background. The sentiment was also from that set. What a perfect match for this image.

I'm entering this card into Make It Monday's challenge this week.

Feeling Woolen

This week is a colour theme at Catch The Bug. Woolen hues are the choice of the week.

I chose to use Lil Dude here. I created the splattered background using a Papertrey Ink Grunge stamp set.

Tutorial Wednesday

It's my turn to share with you a tutorial for Catch The Bug's Tutorial Wednesday!!!
I've decided to show you my quick and easy method for a rocker card. I love circular cards but I hate it when they have a straight edge at the fold.

Firstly, find a circle nestability which fits your envelope.

Cut a piece of plain cardstock and your backing colour.

Fold the plain one in half.

Use a strong glue/tape to attach the base colour to the rocker. I like to use a glue gel so that I can manouver it a bit.

And there we have it - nice and easy and adds a bit of fun too when you see the card rocking back and forth.

I'm going to enter this card into the Make It Monday challenge for this week.

Looney Once More

Yep, another Looney Tune card today for you. this time it's the return of Bugs Bunny! The yellow circle is in fact a scrap piece leftover from one of my previous cards and so I only had to print off one sheet from the CD Rom to create this card.

This card was made for this week's Make It Monday challenge.
Hope you like it...

Kenny K meets the Bugaboo DT!

Today is a photo inspiration challenge (below) over at Catch The Bug. The card as you can see has no Bugaboo image though! That is because I have worked with this week's sponsor which is KENNY K!

I have tried to create a funky, younger Valentine take for the card. Not too 'flowery' and 'heart'y' as that just isn't me. I took my colour choice from the picture - white (basket), pink (roses) and green (leaves). The hearts on the table inspired me to use my heart embossing folder.

Make sure you head on over to Catch The Bug to get more inspiration and to check out all the details including what fabulous prizes there are on offer this week.

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:
Card Crafters Circle – Valentine     Cardmadfairy's Digi Days - must use a digi, Hearts

Feeling Crabby?

It's been too long since Crabby Cathy has had any love so I decided to get her out for this week's

I love the image and sentiment so much that I wanted to keep the layout simple.
So make sure you have a look at the site for all the DT inspiration and to join in.
