Yosemite Sam

I love this card for that generic theme. The Howdy Partner sentiment found on the Yosemite Sam decoupage sheet is so versatile. I made this wiper card to really show of the sentiment. I love how it just pops up! I used Soft Suede and Pacific Point cardstock from SU.

A Tropical Christmas

Today's challenge in Bugaboo's week long CHRISTMAS IN JULY celebrations is
TROPICAL With the FREEBIE image!
I have used this Santa image which is in fact one of the prizes during this celebratory week. There is a free image which we'd like you to use that is available over at Catch The Bug. It's of Santa buried in the sand!!!

I made this extended twister easel card which I think is just a little bit different to the usual style which I like.

Make sure you visit Catch The Bug to see all the details as there are LOADS of prizes up for grabs during our WEEK LONG Christmas In July celebrations.

So where are you heading next? Well you are off to:

Lili of the Valley - Anything Goes

Here's my ANYTHING GOES entry for this week's Lili of the Valley challenge. I used a So Saffron and Old Olive colour scheme and coloured the green clothing using Spectrum Noirs (my first attempt). Need to use them a bit more to get a feel about them I think but they are so much cheaper than other pens. I glazed the ball to make it shine.

Dressing Riley

I needed to make a thank you card for one of my Cubs' Dad. Last week we had a sponsored event to raise money for new camping equipment and he went around and collected over double our target from local businesses - AMAZING!

So here's the card I made using a Riley & Co image. Their challenge is to dress it up by drawing clothes onto him by altering it. So I drew on clothes and our group necker.

Beep Beep!

I just couldn't resist using Road Runner for today's Tee Pee card. I just love the colours of this decoupage sheet from the Looney Tunes CD Rom.

Here's a picture to show how it can be put flat to go into an envelope.

A Daffy Start To The Week

Yep, still making the most of my Looney Tune CD ROM, can you tell I love it?
This time, it's Daffy Duck who is coming to the fore.
It's been ages since I made a Tee-Pee card (you can find a tutorial I made with all easy measurements and decorating instructions in my sidebar)

I'm entering it into Make It Monday's challenge this week.

A Little Bit Distressed

No, not me, it's the theme for this week's challenge at Lili Of The Valley's Lili's Little Fairies blog!
Here's my effort. I used Blushing Bride and Crumb Cake as my colour palette. I distressed the paper with my scissors and toned everything down to make it look more distressed by sponging everything I could with Crumb Cake ink.
