Bugaboo and ATCs - Two Faves in ONE

Has there ever been a challenge more up my street than the current Bugaboo challenge over at Catch The Bug? 

Make an ATC!

So these are the ones I've made for ATC Swappers too. The theme is Up, Up and Away

I'm entering them into the One Stop Craft Challenge as they are having an ATC theme over there.

Jesse Angel

Here's an angelic bear from Bugaboo.

I used a sketch from Sketch Saturday (flipped it upside down, so instead of a box on top, I had a long rectangular sentiment on the bottom). I then chose the image to fit in with Crafty Emma's Angels and Fairies challenge. I simply had to use the Jesse Angel Bear... 

It also fits in with Fab N Funky as they want to see Digi Images used.

ABaC Monday

So today is Anything But a Card day at Bugaboo and today is my turn to share a project with you:

What is it I hear you ask! Well, it's a book I made using a PTI die

The front is adorned by Artist JJ as this book is an...

ATC display book!!! I have attached ATC sleeves to the pages to store favourite ATCS in. Below the ATC is space to write some detail - who made it, when etc. I've left one blank and put an ATC in the other so you can see how it looks before and after.

The tabs were punched with a SU Punch and then stamped with PTI Sentiments.

The inside pages have been stamped with PTI stamps too.

Such a lovely couple

Here's Bugaboo's loving couple Stella and Gus. Don't they make a lovely pair?

I've used them for Secret Crafter's Couple's challenge this week. I used Sweet Stop's Sketch as the basis for the layout.

And finally, One Stop Craft is having a more than one fold challenge and so as an easel, I'm entering it too.

Can you believe we are on the fourth mini challenge to celebrate Bugaboo's birthday already???

Big News

Today is my first challenge as part of the AUD SENTIMENTS DESIGN TEAM!!!

YIPPEEEE!

This fortnight's challenge is to use the word LOVE on your creations. We are also being sponsored for this challenge by Squigglefly and I used their teddy image to create this card. The middle heart is in fact blank so I stamped the word 'LOVE' in the centre from a PTI set I had. The background was created using a PTI set too and red and black ink.

It's time for some BIG celebrations today and for the rest of the week as BUGABOO is turning 1!!!

The costing for this project is based on getting 2 invites out of each piece of cardstock so they are quite large but you could easily shrink it down and get 4 on a page.

Sew Much Going On...

No it's not a spelling mistake, today sees a new Friday Freebie released at Bugaboo along with other similar images for sale. Here's my Sewing Sunbonnet card:

I used the Tin Types stamp from PTI to stamp the stitched type background using Tempting Turquoise ink from SU.

Also, tomorrow begins a BIG week at Bugaboo as it's the FIRST BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION. There'll be a hop tomorrow and challenges, with loads of opportunities to win some fantastic images. Make sure you return tomorrow for all the details.

Emboss It

Well it was about time I got my Cuttlebug embossing folders out. I used to use them all the time but they've been neglected recently. With this weeks Bugaboo challenge over at Catch The Bug, it was the perfect time to get them out as the theme is

EMBOSS IT!

So I got out the circle dots one - because I used DOTTIE!

I also used my Polka Dot stamps from PTI to help break up the white.

Birthday Birdies

Introducing Ava and Deacon

Well actually, I only have Deacon! But both Ava and Deacon are released today at BUGABOO.

As you can see, I've used my PTI stamps once again to create the background. I've used a sentiment set called 'Around and About Sentiments' to create this for the Passion for Papertrey challenge. Just goes to show that you don't just have to use images and patterns to create a great background. I like the simple feel of it and the striking black and red colour combo.

Papertrey Background

You may have seen a card I made the other day using some Papertrey stamps to create a background. Well I've been at it again and used the Polka Dot Basics set to create this retro look backing paper. I used Garden Green ink from SU. So here's a look at my second entry for Passion for Papertrey:

Welcome to the first BUGABOO Challenge of 2011!!!

And to start of nice and gently, the theme is ANYTHING GOES. Although not essential, we'd love to see you use a Bugaboo image.
