Elzybells Challenge 2

Here goes with my attempt at the second Elzybells Sketch Challenge. This was the first time I used this image and really liked the result. I cut out a large nestie circle for the corners so that I'd have the matching scallops to go with the matting of the main image. The bones have been added with white embossing powder (made a bit of a mess though!).

Thanks for another great sketch! Check out the DT work over at the Elzybells Blog.

Embossed Elzybells

Here's a couple of cards I made combining my Elzybells stamps and Cuttlebug embossing. It is the same design that I used for another card a while back but this time using a larger image as a focal point.

Gift Card Holders

I made a couple of gift card holders using my new Sizzix Movers and Shapers. I printed the snowflakes from a Pink Petticoat set onto card, cut out a notelet and then printed out a negative section for the inside.

BIG Birthday Wishes!

Here's a quick card made using a Pink Petticoat set I bought a long time ago but never used. Thought it was about time it had an airing. The backing paper is also from PP.

Just thought...

I'd show you my new classroom for this year!

I think you'll agree that it is quite an inspiring place for education.

Certainly the best classroom in the college!

Elzy Blog Update

WOW!!! My card for the first Elzybells Challenge has been added to the Elzybells Blog gallery! I'm so chuffed that a card I have made is considered worthy of being put along side the Design Teams FANTASTIC work.
Thanks Elizabeth.

And now for some unrelated news! When I went to post this comment there was a new little message saying I had a follower?!?!? Thanks Carolann for pointing me towards this option and I have now added the follower icon to the side if anyone else is interested

Woof! Woof! Woof!

I wanted to make a bright card and went for some lime green and black - quite different for me! I saw a card made using this layout whilst blog hopping a long time ago - I copied it down as a sketch and now can't find it again!?!?! If you recognise it and can show me the way so that I can give the person some recognition for the idea then I would be grateful.

Elzybells Challenge 1

I've had a go at making a Card for the very first Elzybells Challenge. I'm not usually into Sketch challenges but have made an attempt and have to admit I enjoyed it. When I saw the sketch I immediately thought of putting the long panel on a gatefold card. I used my new 'In the Dog House' stamp and backing papers from Shabby Princess' Moody Blues Collection.
