Daring Cardmakers - Christmas in June...

Came across the Daring Cardmakers blog by complete accident this evening and had been making some quick christmas cards today! They would also have fitted their last challenge too (a card in less than 30 mins!). PSP'd some Petticoat Trees, Cuttlebugged the card blank with the snowflakes folder and cut out the pic and scallops with nesties! Quick, easy but effective. Will probably become my stock pile this year.

PB Saturday Challenge 3 - Colour Challenge

This is my first attempt at the Penny Black Saturday Challenge blog. I don't have any of their stamps but have bought some of the stickers. This weeks challenge is to use the colours pink, brown and green. Here is my effort.

Double Aperture Pop Out Gatefold Card!!!

Having made a few of the aperture pop out cards, I had the idea of doing a double version! I needed to make a special looking card for a dog lover and so Kim's Puppy Love set was ideal. I started with an A3 piece of linen card and cut it in half lengthways and then folded one piece into a gatefold card. I created the pop out section with the second and cut out the apertures. Didn't have any cream or light green ribbon to match and have used the white just to show for now. I used the Cuttlebug swirls and hearts folders for the backing for the borders.

First Diamond Fold Card

After seeing a link to a vid with an unusual fold on the Cuddly Buddly forum, I just had to have a look. Had a quick go at one with a frog topper that I had made previously. I Cuttlebugged 2 panels for the sides and voila!

Kim's Doodle Challenge - Stack of Ellies (2)

Finally got round to making a card with the PSP image that I coloured in! I'm happy with the topper but not sure about the overall card. Don't think I should have layered it onto the silver.

90th Birthday Card

Had to make a 90th Birthday card. Had to have floral image and found this Shabby Princess image tucked away on my computer - hadn't even noticed it before! Oops. Don't know where to put a 90 or if it needs it - might just put that on the insert. Cuttlebuged the background to add texture.

Proof of my PSP'ing abilities

After being 'leant' a coloured PSP pic from Elaine, I thought I'd give it another go. I had some helpful hints and tips on the Cuddly Buddly forum. I thought I'd show you my first proper PSP attempt. Haven't made a card with it yet though but will sometime soon.

Another Lamb!

Made this card using the 'left over' bits from the acetate one!

Lovely Lambs

Made another card using acetate for the base. The lambs are from Cuddly Buddly and the backing paper are Pink Petticoat. Not sure what it is for yet but liked the image and hadn't used it before. It took a while to make as everything is double backed so that the double sided tape doesn't show.

Kim's Doodle Challenge - Stack of Ellies

Kim has put up her new Doodle challenge on the Cuddly Buddly forum. It's a great stack of elephants. This is one of those 'with a little help from your friends' cards. Haven't quite got the hang of PSP yet so Elaine kindly sent me the one she coloured in to aid me in my hour of need. Still can't believe that I have managed to complete a challenge card so soon. Must be some kind of record for me! I've used Kims free papers as backing with gold card border and a thin gold peel off border around the Ellies. I've decoupaged the ears and balloons and finished it off with a bit of stickles to highlight.

Stampman June ATC Swap

Have just finished off some ATCs for the Stampman ATC Swap. This months theme was fashion. Used some Pink Petticoat designs with my trusted nesties and Cuddly Buddly patchwork paper backgrounds. Tried something different with the layering of the nesties but not sure about it.

Fathers Day Card

A quick post to show you the 'quick' Fathers Day Card I made for my Dad (I know I should have been more organised and made it sooner!)

Pressie Toad

Another quick card using the Shabby Princess set and the Pink Petticoat Toads. Very quick and very easy.

Shopping Lola

Made a quick card today. Can't take much of the credit as I used a ready made Digital Scrapbook page from Shabby Princess and resized it to fit the card. It is the first time I have used this site for anything and it is certainly worth a look (as the downloads are free for personal use!). I added a Pink Petticoat topper to it. I couldn't find a card blank which was the right colour so inked it myself.

Stampman ATC Swap

Just received these new ATC’s from a Stampman Swap which I sent off months ago as it was a March swap. Had given up hope and so didn’t participate in the following swaps (even though I’d made the April ones!). Need to get going on this months now - fashion!

Socks

Bought the new Pink Petticoat 'Socks' set - well it had to be done because they were on sale!!! I liked the giraffe the best and so made a quick card using him. Cuttlebugged and chalked background with the image coloured with the whispers pens and finished off with a sizzix tag tied up with ribbon. Nothing flash but he turned out OK.
