Had a go at Kim's new Challenge over at Cuddly Buddly. Not sure if I'm happy with the result - the pens didn't seem to want to blend on the cardstock I used and has turned out patchy. Anyway, here it is:

Second attempt at this in the end! First one had an Edwin but there was something missing and couldn't work it out. As a result, I started again and this was the result. Tinker and Co backing papers from cupcake set. Prefer this one and no nestabilities this time!!!

Cousins' Card

My cousin will be 4 this week - loves building, JCB's etc so used Cuddly Buddly Builder Teddy. He is 3D'd using foam pads and then the hat is layered again - doesn't show up in the pic though. Layered it onto nestie circles and also used them to make the tag. I have used the Cuddly Buddly Patchwork Green set so much I bought the blue set today.

Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge - Wet and Windy

Went for the Windy option for this weeks challenge. Went for the green colour background from Cuddly Buddly yet again.

Friends Birthday Card and Gift Bag

Made this card for a friend. I wanted to use the daffodil fairy but wanted to make her a bit more modern. I like how the hanging daffodil turned out and will try it again I'm sure.

The bag was to hold a Magnolia stamp and is the first time I have used the PB stickers.

Half Hour Card

Had to make a gardening themed card in half an hour!!! Wish people would give more time! Stuck with a colour scheme/papers I knew worked. Also HAD to use my new circle nesties.

Pop Out Card

Pop out card (which I had to make at the last minute because I was away and forgot about the birthday, oops!). Made using Pink Petticoat Designs and Kim's Patchwork Green Papers from Cuddly Buddly.

Been away

No blog updates lately as I have been away enjoying a salsa weekender in Blackpool. Took over Pontins for an entire weekend - plenty of eating, drinking and dance lessons (including Bollywood and Bhangra!!!)

Dolly Mama

Made this 18th birthday card using a Dolly Mama stamp, watercoloured it then highlighted it with pens. I started to cut it out as a square ready to mount it but it went wrong so I played on this and made an abstract shape which I think ended up looking better anyway.

Bug ATC

An ATC made using Pink Petticoad Cupcakes set. The top of the cupcake looked a bit bland so I went overboard with the stickles.

Kay Miller ATC

A simple digitally layered ATC using Jungle Bookies kit from Kay Miller. Monkey has been decoupaged to lift it a bit. I really like the stitching effect at the top.

Not one of mine...

Unfortunately, I can’t take the credit for this one but wanted to share it and show it off – I received it in a swap from a friend of mine. This is probably my favourite ATC as it is so personal and a lot of thought went into it as it combines two of my favourite things – Roald Dahl and Chocolate. I always try to fit Dahl’s work into my schemes of work and my consumption of chocolate is well known! It even had a gift attached – a Roald Dahl badge!!!
