Elzybells Challenge 19 - Rachel's Sketch

Here's the sketch that is the Challenge over at the Elzybells Blog right now. It's one of Rachels's. Head on over to have a look at the deisgn team's work - they are amazing.

Well here's my effort at it. I've used the sheep and chicks again and also my new Nesties - it's their first outing lol!!! The backing paper are free downloads from Shabby Princess.

Elzybells Challenge 16 - Polka Dots

It has been so long since I completed a challenge but I really enjoyed the latest one over on the Elzybells Blog. Jeanne has set a Polka Dot theme. I immediately started thinking female cards but then came across this backing paper that I downloaded a long time ago from Shabby Princess and so went for a male 'Good Luck' card. The wording is from the Elzybells clear set which has so many words that you can use to create your own sentiments but this is the first time I've used them.

After sticking down all the pieces, I found some blue card which matched the backing paper nicely but it was too late to add an extra mount. Never mind, I'm pleased with the result anyway.

Elzybells Challenge 1

I've had a go at making a Card for the very first Elzybells Challenge. I'm not usually into Sketch challenges but have made an attempt and have to admit I enjoyed it. When I saw the sketch I immediately thought of putting the long panel on a gatefold card. I used my new 'In the Dog House' stamp and backing papers from Shabby Princess' Moody Blues Collection.

90th Birthday Card

Had to make a 90th Birthday card. Had to have floral image and found this Shabby Princess image tucked away on my computer - hadn't even noticed it before! Oops. Don't know where to put a 90 or if it needs it - might just put that on the insert. Cuttlebuged the background to add texture.

Pressie Toad

Another quick card using the Shabby Princess set and the Pink Petticoat Toads. Very quick and very easy.

Shopping Lola

Made a quick card today. Can't take much of the credit as I used a ready made Digital Scrapbook page from Shabby Princess and resized it to fit the card. It is the first time I have used this site for anything and it is certainly worth a look (as the downloads are free for personal use!). I added a Pink Petticoat topper to it. I couldn't find a card blank which was the right colour so inked it myself.
