Oh Alice Challenge

When I saw that the Oh Alice challenge this week was 'Chess', I knew I had to get out my Jackpot Papers from SU. It has this great Paun Paper in it.

I made this little treat holder with the Queen of Hearts image from Bugaboo.

Here it is open and you can see the hole in which to slide the treat.

A Card From A Class & Blog Candy Winner

I went to a card class last Friday and made the following card with tea bag folding down the side. I like the non-traditional Black and Red with Siler Mirri. I thought it was very effective. The tea bag folding was easy but time consuming. I think I'm going to use this style again but add my own twist to it.

I'm going to enter it into the Oh Alice challenge which is to use tea bag folding on your project.

Remember, if you are a Harry Potter fan, make sure you check my previous post HERE with regards to the release of Bugaboo's AMAZING release and use them on a project to enter our challenge at Catch The Bug. There's also a special offer in the SHOP. Buy the Character Bundle and get all the accessory tidbits FREE!

And for those of you waiting to find out who won my Holiday Blog Candy, the wait is over! The winner is
Congratulations Ali, e-mail me your details and I'll sort out your prize. Thanks to all those who entered and especially those who made the treat holders too. I enjoyed looking at them.

One Stitch At A Time

The One Stitch at a Time challenge this week is Girlie. I have used this angel digi image (found in the Wee Ones collection) from Bugaboo to create the card and so am going to also enter it into Bee Crafty's Anything Goes challenge (but you must use a digi).

Oh Alice is also having a challenge to create a 'Little Girl Card' so I'm entering it there too. The paper is from SU's Pink Flamingo pack matched up with Pretty in Pink card and some linen white from my stash. The sentiment is from my new Papertrey Star Prints set.

I did some blog hopping on some challenge sites this morning and was so shocked. Do you remember my Skelekinz Rock Star card I made a few days ago? Well it came Top 3 at One Stitch at A Time. Amazing enough, but it also got Top 3 with Charisma cards too - a double whammy! If you missed it, here it is again with a fab One Stitch at a Time border added (I like the way they do this to their images)

Oh Alice Challenge

Guess what - BUGABOO are sponsoring this weeks Oh Alice Challenge. The theme is A PROJECT FOR A CHILD. There's a chance of winning some images by entering this challenge.
I made this little easel card by layering the Bugaboo Alice image onto some floral Digi Paper from Pink Petticoat.

The card also applies to Dare U Digi this time as their theme is FLOWERS

Oh Alice Challenge

I've had this Mad Hatter image from Bugaboo Digi Images for a couple of weeks now. I've actually made some ATCs with it for a swap further down the line. I really like it and he's great fun to colour. This morning I stumbled across a challenge blog OH ALICE which is based on Alice in Wonderland and so I thought I had to take part. The theme is 'Small Print' and you must use some text on your project. Here's my green and gold card:

Can you see I'vegone a bit old school and used something I haven't used in ages - PEEL OFFS! Used then for the sentiment and the border around the card. I typed the text in Publisher and then placed the PNG version of the Mad Hatter on top. The PNG version has a transparent background but the main image is filled in white so he can still be coloured. I love that about the Bugaboo images (you do get a JPG too so you have both types).
