Anyone for Anya - Stitch It

STITCH IT is the theme over at Anyone for Anya? this week and Paper Sundae have also got STITCHING as their theme. Am entering this card into both. I have used Kraft Card as the base (which I seem to be doing a lot of now) and layered on some blue cardstock which I got from the Papermill. The blue matches the Agean Promarker perfectly and I tend to use them a lot!

Simply stamped Surfer Ian onto the white linen cardstock. I was suprised how well the coloures blended on this as I thought the texture may have been an issue. The sentiment is from a SU set. I then went ahead with some faux stitching around the edge. A TIP ~ wait for the ink to dry before picking it up! Managed to smudge it and the black on my fingers have resulted in thumb marks :(

Remember to come back tomororow as I'll be showing a card as part of the La La Land Beach Bash and you could win some brill prizes simply by coming by here.

Anyone for Anya - Flower Power

With a theme like FLOWER POWER, what else could I use except Hippy Anya!!! The card is for this weeks Anyone for Anya challenge. Last time I used this image, I made a really bright and bold card with loads of colours so this time I decided to keep it clean and simple. The paper is from SU but I've forgotten which set oops! I coloured Anya in to match.

Both the sentiments are from Elzybells. The white card is a linen textured card which looks great in real life but the camera hasn't picked up on it which is a shame.

Hippy Anya

I made this card for two challenges- Anyone for Anya which was a sketch (have a look below) and Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge (hearts). The colour scheme is based around the DSP from Stampin Up 'Sunny Days' Simply Scrappin Kit - Pink Passion, Old Olive and Tempting Turquoise and Pumpkin Pie. I've used my Cuttlebug Embossing folder to emboss some hearts onto the turquoise panel.

Anyone for Anya - Heart for Heart's Sake

The theme over at Anyone for Anya is Heart for Heart's Sake. You must include hearts in your work. This digi image was perfect for the theme. Just to show the size of the image, here's a pic of an A5 piece of cardstock with 2 of the images printed.

Here's a close up of the coloured image.

And finally the card. I have used my new Elzybells cardstock for this. The front has been trimmed down the right hand side so that it is shorter than the back so as to show the stamped hearts border (which was stamped with Elzybells ink too).
