Busy Bee

Here's a card I've made using a different Elzybells stamp for a change! Managed to stay away from the dogs for a bit. I've used the Busy Bee stamp (stamped twice) to create the border and the Open Daisy for the background.

Cuddly Buddly Christmas

Have been working on a Christmas Card for the Cuddly Buddly Christmas in July. Made a pop up card using the Cozy Dayz set. Used this set a lot last year and looks like it will be used again!

Window Card

Still playing with my new Elzybells stamps (and still using the dog with the bee!!! I will use the others soon!) Although a very simple looking card, I really like this one. Haven't tried stamping through a window before as my stamping has never been up to much and never wanted to risk wasting a piece of cardstock (the card I've used is a shimmery card called Cryogen White from Craft Creations. It doesn't show up well in the pic but looks good in real life). Originally it was to have a row of pawprints along the bottom but as always I got carried away! Excuse the finger in the first pic, it was difficult to take the pic to show the aperture with the front opening all the time.

Cute Card Thursday - Animals

Here's my entry (or should that be entries) for the Cute Card Thursday Challenge. Was playing around with all my new Elzybells stamps. All stamps used (both for the backgrounds and main images) are from Elzybells and were great to stamp with. The bottom ones are again made with the Cuttlebug embossing folders. I really like the doggy stamps and the one with the newspaper in its mouth and then ripped up make for great before and after cards. I've tried to take a pic so that you can see the dog on the inside too.

Lots To Do - Angels

My second ATC post of the day is for the 'Lots to Do' Challenge blog. This weeks them is angels and so I have used one of the Cuddly Buddly angels as the main image. Decoupaged her and added corners and chalked the edges.

Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge - Buttons

I'm back from camp, finished at my job and now ready to have some fun. Starting off with my entry for the Tilda and Friends Challenge. I don't have many actual buttons (only in lilac for some reason!?!?!) and so plumped for these Kay Miller Jungle Boogie digital images.

Have been AWOL lately due to work - end of term reports, parents evening, sports etc and will be for a while too as I have Cub Camp this weekend and still have a lot to organise. Don't expect an update for a while but then the hols will start and might get to play more especially with my latest Elzybells package!!!

PB Saturday Challenge 5 - Sketch

The new Penny Black Saturday Challenge is up! This week it's a sketch.
Here's my attempt - not sure of the colours after I made it. Use Kim's patchwork papers as a background and my new PB stamp for the topper.

CB ATC Challenge - A Major Bugbear!

Better late than never!
Here's my Design Team member ATC for the Cuddly Buddly ATC Challenge. Can't believe I forgot to post it! If you haven't joined in in the past then now would be a good time to join in as we have a goodie bag up for grabs. Come and have a go - the designable downloads are great and it's just a case of printing them off to the size you want - and there's no waiting for postie so you can join in straight away.

This months them was A MAJOR BUGBEAR. Here's the story behind the theme:

As the pollen from flowers are a problem to a lot of people (or a BUGBEAR should we say!), this months challenge is to NOT use a FLOWER, BUG or BEAR on the ATC! A chance to use some of the other Cuddly Buddly download sets or stamps.

ABC Challenge - A is for Animals

Look!!! A NO NESTIES OR CUTTLEBUG CARD!!!! Very strange for me!

Thought I'd enter this card into the ABC Challenge - is for Animals. This card is a bit of a prototype (and it had a bit of a squash as it was in my pocket, I forgot it was there and I sat down! It looked less creased before I swear). It is a secret panel card and opens a few different ways - it's great because you don't see the sheep until you open the m,iddle compartment. I saw the idea whilst looking through Dawn's Stamping Thought blog so I must credit her with the idea. It was so easy to follow thanks to her video tutorial.
Again, I have used my new Elzybells stamps including the small flower which I repeated several times to create the backing paper! Then coloured them with my whispers pens. Not like me to do something so fiddly but the end result was well worth it.

Cuttlebugged Christmas

Just having a quick play with the bug - nothing too exciting today. Same sort of theme as my smaller ones - same images but different style. Not sure which I prefer yet! Large or small?

PB Saturday Challenge 4 - Buttons and Brads

I know it's not like me to complete a challenge on the correct day but I have managed it today. Here is my attempt at the PB Saturday Challenge. Recoloured a Shabby Princess layout as a backing and used nestied and a PB Stickeroo for the topper.

Cute Card Thursday - Great Outdoors

Used my new Elzybells stamps to create a quick and easy 'Great Outdoors' card to fit in with the Cute Card Thursday challenge. I know it's not much but I just wanted to try out the new stamp! I liked the images and the sayings that came with them. Expect more sheepy cards in the near future.

Buddly T-Shirt

Needed to have a little practice with the transfer sheets before making T-Shirts with the Cubs and so made a Cuddly Buddly one for my 4 year old cousin who adores all things construction - especially JCBs. The back has a large cone on it but I didn't take a pic of that.

And just for good measure, my new Elzybells stamps have arrived - can't wait to play!!!
